Islamabad High Court Refuses Plea to Open Private Schools

Islamabad High Court refused to go along with the plea to restart schools in Islamabad from August 15th. Athar Minallah, Chief Justice Islamabad High Court, upon hearing the plea, said that the court could not meddle with the administrative rulings, adding that the Federal Government’s decision centers around the safety of the students.
The petitioners argued that schools have been closed for months, causing financial strains for educational institute owners. The Chief Justice continued that the parties should seek aid from the relevant forum though their association instead of challenging the Federal Government’s decision.
