In the last phase of the recommencement of educational activity across Pakistan, primary schools will open their doors for students on September 30. The final decision in this regard will be made today (September 29). The government will take the decision in light of the recommendation of the National Command Operation Centre, a nerve centre to synergise and articulate unified national effort against COVID-19.
The first phase of the reopening of educational institutions began on September 15. The government has been ensuring strict implementation of SOPs. According to the Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mehmood, one per cent COVID-19 rate has been witnessed in educational institutions and that was satisfactory for the government.
